Artist's Comments

Acrylic on illustration board.

I took a great deal of enjoyment creating this piece. I called it my 'therapy' piece with all the greens and blues, woodlands and marshlands.

What I find special about 'Love Song' is the beautifully vivid and clear colouring, the detailed foreground and the background which also is full of beautiful details especially stands out. *ssantara's gallery is beautiful and unique. (Suggested by *AlectorFencer and Featured by `skifi)

Absolutely beautiful piece of therapy. I wish my therapy sessions came out as beautifully. The colours are sublime and the fur so beautiful and soft looking with the light to match.

Absolutely love this and must :+fav: now.

What a gorgeously vibrant piece! You should have so many more comments!

I adore the fur, the reds look so bristly yet soft. I really like the red against the deep greens and blues too. It has such a whimsical feel, so very lovely!
Were you perhaps inspired by Kyoht's love song piece? Not that I'm saying you copied! Oh no no! This is VERY much your own work, that's clear :3 The only similarities I found were the name and the content.

I also love all the details in the foliage, you must have some patience!
Well done, very nice work :3

Thanks!

My friend Goldie ( Goldenwolf ) mentioned to me that Ky had done a piece called that with a fox playing a flute to another fox. I had no ideal that Ky had such a piece and I thought I was familar with all her pieces. Goes to show that 'great artists think alike' even though they are two different paintings. :)

the painting is beautiful, the balance of the colors makes it a real therapy picture, the greens make us feel fine and the blues calm, the fox makes us happy :)
the details of the fur are awesome, it's hard to make thin strokes with acrylic so I'm surprised and amazed at the same time
better not talk about the little detais or I'll explode of happyness (I love little details :D the bird is so cute!)
